The center of the Biblical narrative, God’s story of salvation, is Christ. The story moves from God to creation, to fall, to Israel, with an ever-growing anticipation of a coming Messiah. The coming of Christ means we need to go back to the first parts of the story and reread them through the lens of his coming.
